STOMP by Kirk Franklin



In 1993, the group, now known as “Kirk Franklin & The Family,” released their debut album, Kirk Franklin & The Family. It spent almost two years on the gospel music charts and charted on the R&B charts, eventually earning platinum sales status. It remained at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums chart for 42 weeks. It was the first gospel music album to sell over a million units.

Jesus Is Real by John P Kee



In the mid-1980s, Kee formed a community choir in Charlotte known as the New Life Community Choir or “NLCC.” Over time the choir grew in popularity and has continued to travel throughout the area. The choir also includes Kee’s children.

In 1990, Kee founded the Victory in Praise Music and Arts Seminar Mass Choir, or “V.I.P.” to fellowship with various ministries, songwriters, musicians, and choir directors from all over the country.

Kee has been active for more than 20 years in the music field. He is primarily known for mixing traditional gospel with the modern contemporary gospel and for having a soulful husky voice. In 2007, Kee was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame. Kee is also known as “The Prince of Gospel Music”.

Shine Jesus Shine by Crystal Lewis



Lewis previously lived in Montana with then-husband Brian Ray, with whom she has two children, who were home schooled. Lewis and Ray divorced after 28 years of marriage, and she now lives in California. Her daughter, Isabella (Izzi Ray), is also a singer/songwriter and released her self-titled debut album on February 12, 2012.

Darlene Joyce Zschech née Steinhardt is an Australian Pentecostal Christian worship leader and singer-songwriter who primarily writes praise and worship songs. Described as a pioneer of the modern worship movement she is the former worship pastor of Hillsong Church and currently a member of Compassionate, a charity founded by Martin Smith.

Michael Whitaker Smith is an American musician, who has charted in both contemporary Christian and mainstream charts. His biggest success in mainstream music was in 1991 when “Place in This World” hit No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100. Throughout his career, he has sold more than 18 million albums.

Days Of Elijah by Robin Mark



Robin Mark is a Northern Irish Christian singer, songwriter, worship leader, and recording artist based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Mark has written several songs sung throughout the world. He is best known for his songs “Days of Elijah”, “Revival”, “All for Jesus”, “The Wonder of The Cross”, “Not by Might” and many more. He has released thirteen albums in total with sales of over two million worldwide and has won the GMA’s international award.

Go Light Your World by Kathy Troccoli



After graduating from high school, Troccoli studied jazz and opera at the Berklee College of Music in Boston for a year, then returned to Long Island to major in voice at Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) also singing with an SCCC-based jazz band and later singing in Long Island clubs. In the summer of 1978, while working a day job to help cover her college expenses, Troccoli formed a friendship with a born again Christian co-worker; this led to Troccoli herself becoming a devout Christian.

Sometimes By Step by Rich Mullins



Mullins’ start in the Christian music industry occurred in mid-1981 when Amy Grant recorded his song “Sing Your Praise to the Lord. The decision was for Mullins to start his solo career. He moved to Wellsburg, Tennessee,  approximately 45 minutes from Nashville, to begin his professional recording career. Mullins got engaged sometime between the late 70s and early 80s and wrote the song “Doubly Good to You” (recorded by Amy Grant on her album Straight Ahead) for his upcoming wedding. However, his fiancée broke off the engagement in 1982.In response to the breakup, Mullins wrote “Damascus Road”

Lord I Lift Your Name On High by Rick Founds



Rick Founds is a Christian singer-songwriter based in Fallbrook, California. He is best known for writing “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High”. Other titles that he has authored include “I Love Your Grace”, “Jesus, Mighty God”, “I Need You” and “Jesus, Draw Me Close”.
